Playlists
In the Playlists section, you’ll find helpful tools to manage your video collections — perfect for series, courses, tutorial sequences, music videos, and curated marathons. This area shows all your playlists in one place. At the top, there’s a "…" button in the navigation bar that opens a menu with playlist options, plus a toolbar with quick actions like Search, Play All, and Shuffle All. Each playlist also has its own "…" button next to its title, giving you more options just for that playlist.
Playlists in Evervideo can contain a mix of online cloud videos, offline downloaded files, local files, Photos library videos, and iOS Music library videos — all in one playlist — and play seamlessly together.
Creating a Playlist
Creating a new playlist is straightforward. You have two options: tap the + button, or tap the "…" button in the upper-right corner of the navigation bar and choose New Playlist. Give your playlist a meaningful name, then tap Save.
This triggers the Add Videos dialog, where you can handpick the videos you wish to include. Videos are conveniently categorized by source type:
- Library — videos already in your media library.
- Files in This Application — videos in the app’s Documents folder.
- Files on This Device — videos located elsewhere on your device, not in this application.
- Connections — online videos located within your connected cloud storage services and media servers.
- Photos Library — videos from your iOS Photos library.
- Music Library — videos from your iOS Music app library.
By default, you can add a single video to a playlist only once. If you want to allow duplicates, enable this in Settings → Media Library → Playlists → Duplicates in a Playlist → Enable.
Import Playlist
Evervideo supports M3U / M3U8 / CUE playlist file import, so you can bring existing playlists in without re-creating them by hand.
First, go to the Playlists section. Then, tap the More button in the top-right corner. From the menu, select Import Playlist.
On the next screen, choose the file location. Supported options:
- Connected cloud storage
- Files in the application
- Files on your device
Select the location, open the folder containing the playlist file, then pick the .m3u, .m3u8, or .cue file and tap Done. Evervideo parses the file, locates each referenced video on storage, and creates a real playlist in your library. Important: the playlist file must reference files that actually exist at the paths it specifies.
Playlist Detail Screen
When you open a playlist, the Playlist Detail screen appears. You’ll find a "…" button in the top-right corner with playlist options, and three buttons under the cover image: Search, Continue Playback, Play All, and Shuffle All. There’s also an Offline Mode checkbox to toggle full-playlist offline sync.
- Continue Playback — restore the last saved playback position for this playlist.
- Search — perform a search within the current playlist.
- Play All — add all videos from the current playlist to the player queue.
- Shuffle All — like Play All, but shuffles the videos before adding them to the player queue.
- Offline Mode — download all videos from this playlist to local files. Any new items added to the playlist are also downloaded automatically.

Accessibility

When VoiceOver is active, the app switches to Text Mode so only meaningful elements are surfaced — improving navigation speed and clarity. You can also activate Text Mode in Settings → Accessibility → Text Mode.
Adjusting Video Position in a Playlist with VoiceOver
- Open a playlist and tap the More button.
- Select Rearrange Videos. The view switches into editing mode.
- Tap the reorder indicator icon near the video title to give it focus.
