Evermusic 6.8: Aliyun Drive, Synology, New UI Styles
TL;DR: Evermusic 6.8 adds Aliyun Drive and Synology NAS integration (with QuickConnect), six new album cover scroll effects, a minimal fullscreen player, drag-and-drop file management, and faster album art loading. Available now for iOS and macOS.
Minimal Fullscreen Player
A new fullscreen album cover style provides a clean, distraction-free playback screen. Only essential controls are visible, letting the artwork take center stage.
Enable under:
Settings > Audio Player > Personalization > Audio Player Screen Style
Aliyun Drive (阿里云盘) Support
Evermusic now connects to Aliyun Drive, one of the most popular cloud storage services in China. Access your music files directly from within the app. This addition was a frequent user request.
Synology NAS via QuickConnect
Connect your Synology NAS using QuickConnectID for remote access without manual IP configuration or VPNs. Stream your NAS music library from anywhere.
Six New Album Cover Scroll Effects
Browse your library with new visual styles for album covers:
- MacDoc
- Linear
- Rotary
- Inverted Rotary
- Cylinder
- CoverFlow
Adjust under:
Settings > Audio Player > Personalization > Album Covers Scrolling Style
Compact List Cells for Small Screens
Control the layout of list cells with compact mode, reduced spacing, and smaller icons. This helps maximize visible content on smaller devices.
Customize under:
Settings > Personalization > List Cells Style
Drag-and-Drop File Management
Move and organize files directly in the file browser using drag and drop. Rearrange your music collection without leaving the app.
Faster Album Cover Loading
Album artwork now loads more efficiently across:
- Genre views
- Album and track views
- Cloud-stored files with embedded artwork
Enable embedded cover support for cloud files under:
Settings > Music Library > Album Covers > Load Album Covers for Online Files
iTunes Library Cover Fix
A longstanding bug where album covers from iTunes libraries failed to display has been resolved. Artwork for iTunes tracks now appears correctly.
What This Update Means
Evermusic 6.8 focuses on three areas: broader cloud compatibility (Aliyun Drive, Synology), deeper personalization (player styles, cover effects, compact layouts), and performance improvements (faster artwork, drag-and-drop). Update now and try the new features.
