Everdisk
Everdisk turns your iPhone or iPad into a wireless drive and a hub that connects to your other devices too. You share the files, photos, videos and music you choose, and anything on your local network can reach them - a smart TV, a Mac or PC, a web browser, or another phone. There are no accounts, no cloud, and nothing extra to install on the other side. You just tap Start and you are ready.
The app runs four servers at the same time, so every device connects the way it likes:
- TV & Media Center (DLNA) - smart TVs and media players find your photos, videos and music by themselves.
- Browser (HTTP) - anyone opens a link in a web browser to view and download your files.
- Computer (WebDAV) - your device appears as a normal network drive in Finder, Windows or Linux.
- Other Apps & Devices (FTP) - file apps and power tools connect over FTP.
Everdisk also works the other way around: it connects to DLNA, WebDAV, FTP and SFTP servers on your network so you can browse, stream and download their files. On top of that it includes a full file manager, a built-in media player, a photo gallery, document scanning to PDF, and zip / unzip. Everything stays on your local network and never touches the internet.
