Install Evermusic: Download and install the Evermusic app from your device’s app store. It’s available for both iOS and Mac devices. Open the App: Launch Evermusic by tapping its icon on your device’s home screen. Connect Your Cloud Service: • Open the ‘Connections’ tab. • Select ‘Connect a cloud service’ from the menu. • Choose your desired cloud service from the list. • Enter your credentials and tap ‘Done.’ Import Files Located On Your Device: You can import files from your device, an external USB flash drive, a personal computer, or a NAS. • Open the ‘Local files’ tab. • Tap ‘Open files...’ or ‘Open folders...’ from the 'Files on this device' menu. • Choose foles or folders located on your device. • Tap ‘Open.’ to import files to the app. Add Your Music: You have two options to add music to Evermusic: manual addition or automatic synchronization. Manual Addition: • Tap on the “Add music” or similar menu item. • Select folders/files from your connected cloud services or local files on your device. • Evermusic will create links to your tracks, preserving the original files’ locations. • To make tracks available offline, use the built-in download manager or enable offline mode for playlists and track collections. Automatic Synchronization: • Go to the music library settings. • Select sync folders to enable automatic synchronization. • The app will scan selected folders, identify supported audio files, and integrate them into your library. Explore Your Music Library: • Evermusic organizes your music library by source types and music tags. • You’ll find sections for online music, offline music, music on your device, and more. • Explore categories like songs, albums, artists, genres, and composers. • Utilize the search feature to quickly find specific songs, artists, albums, or genres. Evermusic is a free application with some limits that you can remove after upgrading to the Premium version. The application offers a one-time lifetime in-app purchase and two subscription options (1 month and 1 year) to remove all restrictions, allowing you to choose the best and most optimal price for you. Prices may vary depending on your country or territory. Also, please keep in mind that Family Sharing is enabled for all purchases and plans, so you can share the Premium version with members of your family. Lifetime purchases and subscriptions are shared between iOS and Mac, using iCloud to sync this information. If you have the premium version on your iOS device, please ensure you have the latest version installed and that iCloud is enabled. Evermusic Free • Contains Ads: The free version displays ads to generate revenue, which can occasionally disrupt your music listening. • Limited Playlists: You can create up to 10 playlists in the free version. • Restricted Cloud Services: The free version supports up to 3 cloud services. • Limited Favorites: You can add a maximum of 100 songs to your favorites in the free version. • Playlist and Queue Limits: The free version has limits on the number of songs you can add to a single playlist (1,000) and the maximum number of songs in the player queue (750). • Limited Offline Features: The free version has restrictions on offline access, including only 1 offline folder and the ability to download albums, artists, genres, playlists, and composers offline. • No iTunes Music Collections Export: You cannot export collections from iTunes music to Local Files in the free version. • Limited Tags Searching Features: Offers 20 automatic tags search requests and 20 album art search requests per day. • Limited Media Collections Export: Allows 5 media collections (playlists, albums, artists, genres) exports to m3u/csv/txt per day. • Limited Personalization Features: You can use only limited personalization options, and changing the app icon is also restricted. Evermusic supports all native audio formats that are supported by iOS. From iOS 13.0 there is native support of FLAC audio format by your device. So if you have iOS 13+ Evermusic will play FLAC files on your device. For iOS 12.0 and lower, we advise you to use Flacbox https://www.everappz.com/flacbox - another our app that supports FLAC files and other lossless audio formats using FFMPEG audio codec.

Evermusic uses only official SDK and secure connections to interact with connected cloud services. Your login and password are not available for the application. All requests from the application to the cloud service are encrypted. When you enter login and password the application shows you the official authorization page that is provided by the cloud service provider and all authorization process is made outside the application. The cloud service provider sends an auth-token to the application after successful authorization and that token is used to make API calls. ​ Auth-token is a digital key that allows third-party applications to interact with cloud storage. Auth-token is stored on your device in secure system storage called Keychain. You can download your files from the connected cloud service to the device and those files will be placed in the app "Documents" directory. You can remove that files anytime using the built-in file manager. The application does not share any information from the connected cloud account. You can revoke access to your cloud account anytime by opening the account settings page on your web browser. ​ To reject auth-token login to your account on the web browser and navigate to the settings page. There you can find all third-party apps which are connected to your cloud account and remove any of them if you don’t want to use that application anymore. ​ You can also disconnect the connected cloud accounts in the application and auth-token will be also removed from your device. - Open the Playlists section. - Tap the "+" button or the "..." button in the top right corner and select "New Playlist." - Enter a name for the playlist and tap "Save." You can connect your computer or personal NAS using SMB, WebDAV, or DLNA protocols. Alternatively, use iTunes File Sharing to transfer music. ​​ To connect a computer using SMB protocol tap "Connect a cloud service" → SMB. Enter computer IP address and shared folder name in URL field using format smb://computer-ip-address/shared-folder-name, enter login and password and tap "Done". If your connection is successful you will see connected storage in the "Cloud services" section. URL should be in format http://server-name or https://server-name if the server supports SSL. Wi-Fi Drive is a popular technology that allows you to transfer files from your computer to an iOS device wirelessly using a desktop browser. To use this feature your device and computer should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Open "Connections" → "Computer" → "Connect using Wi-Fi" and enable the server. After this open a desktop browser and enter the URL from the application. You can drag-n-drop files from your computer to the opened web page and they will appear on the device. Just connect a device to the computer using a cable and run iTunes. Open the iTunes → "Applications section" → and find Evermusic. Tap on the app icon to see a shared folder. Metadata Synchronization: When you add tracks to the library, the metadata reader gets to work. This background process reads all metadata from your tracks and organizes them by Artist, Album, Genre, and Composer. You have the flexibility to adjust the speed of metadata reading to load data faster, but be aware that this may use more energy. You can also disable the metadata reader and display file names instead of tag information. Importantly, the metadata reader only updates metadata in your music library and does not alter the files stored in your cloud account or local storage. If you wish to edit metadata for audio files, you can do so using the built-in tags editor, which you can activate from the corresponding action in the options menu. When the background synchronization checkbox is checked, the metadata reader works in background mode. However, please note that if the application consumes significant energy in the background during audio playback, the iOS operating system may suspend the app. So, if you have a large music collection, it's advisable to use the desktop version of the application for metadata synchronization. You can then use the data backup and restore feature to transfer the synchronized music library from the desktop, which is available in app settings. The 'Reload metadata' action will flag all files in your music library as having missing metadata, triggering the metadata reader to refresh the metadata for every file in your music library. Online Music Synchronization: Automatic online music sync allows you to add tracks from connected cloud services to the music library automatically. To activate this feature, head to music library settings and select sync folders. With this option enabled, the application scans all selected folders, identifies supported audio files, and seamlessly integrates them into your library. You can start or stop synchronization by tapping on the corresponding menu action. Online music synchronization operates exclusively when the app is in the foreground, which means synchronization may take some time. To speed up the process, leave your app open, connect it to a power source, and enable 'Screen' -> 'Always active' option in application settings. Alternatively, you can perform online music synchronization on the desktop version of the app and transfer the music library to the iOS version using the data backup restore feature. You can also set how often you want to synchronize your online music library. If you set it to "immediately," online sync will start every time you open the application. Offline Music Synchronization: This option scans all local folders located in the application's "Documents" directory to find supported audio files. All these local files are seamlessly added to your music library. Local files located on your device but not within this application must be added to the music library manually, as the app does not have access to files located outside the application "Documents" directory, as restricted by iOS/MacOS security. It is advisable to periodically initiate offline music synchronization to keep your music library updated with your local files. Offline Folders: Offline mode is a handy feature that lets you access your favorite music even when you're not connected to the internet. When you enable offline mode for any album, artist, playlist, genre, or remote folder, all the files within that collection will be automatically downloaded to your device for offline playback. You can conveniently access these files in the "Offline Folders" section of the app. What's even more convenient is that when you add new files to the remote server in the folder you've marked for offline use, these new additions will also be automatically downloaded to your device. It ensures that you have the latest music ready for offline enjoyment. If you ever need to synchronize an offline folder from your cloud service manually, here's how you can do it: Simply tap the three dots located in the top-right corner of the app, and select the "Synchronize" option. This allows you to update your offline collection with the latest tracks from the cloud service at your convenience. For those who like to customize their experience further, you can adjust the synchronization timeout settings in the application settings to suit your preferences. This way, you have full control over when and how your offline collection is updated, ensuring you always have your favorite tunes available, even without an internet connection. Read more

Before you can download music and listen to your music offline you should connect network account. Just open the "Connections" screen and add your account. Once you added a network account you can download your music from the cloud. To download music from the cloud – Open connected cloud service. – Navigate inside the folder you want to download. – Tap on the more actions button "..." in the top right corner and choose the "Select" menu item. – Select files you want to download and tap on the "Download" button. Before you can start searching for music, you need to connect your network account. Simply go to the "Connections" screen and link your account. Then, head over to the "Music Library" tab and add music from your connected network account to your music library. Be patient for a bit while the track metadata loads. Once that's done, you can start searching for music in your library. - Open the Evermusic app on your device. - Tap on the "Search" icon or the search bar at the top of the screen in the "Music Library" section. - Enter your search query. You can search by song title, artist name, album, genre, or any other relevant keyword. - Evermusic will display the search results, and you can browse through them to find the music you're looking for. - Simply tap on the song, album, or artist you want to listen to, and it will start playing.

Google Chromecast: - Set up your Chromecast device. - Open the "Audio Player" Screen. - Tap on the "Audio Speaker" icon on the bottom of the screen - Select "Google Chromecast" from the "Connect to a device" section - Select your device from the list of available devices. - Once the connection is established you can stream your music from iPhone to Google Chromecast device. Apple AirPlay: - Open the "Audio Player" Screen. - Tap on the "Audio Speaker" icon on the bottom of the screen - Select "AirPLay & Bluetooth" from the "Connect to a device" section - Select your device from the list of available devices. - Once the connection is established you can stream your music from iPhone to AirPlay device.

iOS supports MP3 tags in Unicode UTF-16 format. If tags are in a non-Unicode page (for example, Japanese or Cyrillic), iOS cannot read them and displays garbled characters. You can fix corrupted audio tags using the built-in tags editor. Just download the audio file, tap the more actions button ("..."), and select "Edit Audio Tags" from the drop-down menu. To set a sleep timer in Evermusic, follow these steps: Open Settings - Audio player - Sleep timer You can then choose the desired time interval, and the player will stop playing music after that specified duration. This feature is handy for falling asleep to your favorite tunes without worrying about music playing all night.

To connect a cloud service in Evermusic, just follow these simple steps: - Open the "Connections" tab. - Select the "Connect a cloud service" menu item. - Choose your preferred cloud service from the list. - Enter your credentials (login and password) for the selected cloud service. - Tap "Done." If you need to edit several files located on your cloud storage activate select mode by tapping on "..." button in the top right corner. After this, you will see checkboxes near every file. You can perform an action for a separate file or group of files. Select needed files by tapping on the checkbox. Next actions available for the selected files: "Download" - download file or folder from the storage to the "Local Files" section. "Move" - move file or folder to different folder on the cloud storage. "Rename" - rename file or folder on the remote storage. "Delete" - delete file or folder from the cloud storage. This action cannot be undone. "Sort" - sort files by name, size, date edited. "Grid"/"List" - change the view mode from table to thumbnails. If you want to change the order of songs in a playlist, follow these steps: 1. Open the "Playlists" tab. 2. Tap on the selected playlist to open it. 3. Tap the "..." button in the top right corner and choose "Select" to enter selection mode. 4. Use the reorder control and drag-and-drop gesture next to each track to move it up or down. Tapping on the reorder control will move the track to the top of the list. 5. To sort songs, tap the "Sort" menu item in the more actions menu. To add songs to a playlist in Evermusic, follow these steps: - Open the playlist you want to add songs to. - Tap the "More actions" button (represented by "..." or three dots) located in the top right corner of the screen. - Select the "Add songs" menu item. This will open a dialog box. - Choose the tracks you want to add to the playlist by selecting them. - Once you've selected the desired songs, tap the "Done" button to confirm your changes. 1. Connect a Cloud Service: • Go to the “Connections” tab. • Select “Connect a cloud service” and follow the prompts to connect your desired service. 2. Navigate to Music Folder: • Open the connected cloud service and find your music folder. 3. Enable Offline Mode: • Tap the “More actions” button next to the folder name. • Choose “Enable offline mode.” 4. Download Content: • The selected folder and all its contents will be downloaded to “Local files” > “Offline folders.” 5. Automatic Updates: • The app will continuously scan for changes. New files added to the online folder will be automatically downloaded. 6. Configure Scanning Timeout: • Go to “Settings” > “File manager” > “Offline folders” > “Time interval” to set the scanning frequency. 7. To connect a NAS using SMB protocol: - Tap "Connect a cloud service" → SMB. - Enter the NAS server IP address and shared folder name in the URL field using the format smb://computer-ip-address/shared-folder-name - Choose protocol version: Auto, SMB1, SMB2 - Enter login and password (if required) - Tap "Done". You can view embedded lyrics for tracks in the Evermusic app by following these steps: 1. Start playing an audio file by tapping on it. 2. Open the full-screen audio player. 3. On the track comments screen, you have three modes which you can change by scrolling to the right: Comments, Embedded Lyrics, and LRC File. Modes: 1. Comments Mode: Displays the content from the COMMENT field of your audio file. 2. Lyrics Mode: Shows the embedded lyrics from your audio file. If your audio file has lyrics in the tags, they will appear here. This mode also supports timed text in LRC format. To edit the lyrics tag, use an external audio tag editor like Evertag. You can find LRC format lyrics for free on websites like Lyricsify. Copy the needed lyrics to your tags and save them to display later on this screen. 3. LRC File Mode: Instead of editing audio files, you can place an LRC file in the same folder as the original audio file. Both files should have the same name but different extensions. If your files are already in the Evermusic app’s Downloads folder (or Documents directory) in the Local Files section, follow these steps to reindex and add them to your music library: 1. Open Settings in the app. 2. Go to Music Library > Offline Music Synchronization. 3. Tap Start Local Folders Scanning to reindex your music library with the new files. If your music files are saved elsewhere on your iPad but not in the app: 1. Go to Music Library > Add Music > Local Files > Files on this iPhone. 2. Tap Open Files… or Open Folders…. 3. Select the files or folders you want to add and tap Open to confirm. All selected files will be added to your music library.

When you add a connection in the app through Connections > Connect a Cloud Service > My Cloud Home, it's designed to officially support WD MyCloud Home devices. However, if you’ve been able to connect your WD MyCloud EX2 Ultra, WD MyCloud Mirror, or any other WD MyCloud Storage, here’s a workaround to help you use it. To make this work, simply create a folder in the app’s file manager after connecting and upload your music files there. It appears WD’s server only allows access to app-created folders in a “sandbox mode” for these devices, so this folder will only be accessible from the Evermusic app. Please use Evermusic’s file manager to upload your songs to this folder. Once the files are uploaded, you can delete the local copies from your device and listen directly from your NAS. Here’s how to remotely access your WD MyCloud Storage music files: 1. Connect to WD MyCloud Storage: go to Connections > Connect a Cloud Service > My Cloud Home. 2. Create a folder on the connected cloud service (visible only in the app). 3. Upload local media files from your device to this folder. 4. Delete the local files from your device once the upload is complete (if you need to free up space). 5. Start streaming by selecting any uploaded media file in the folder created online.
